Champagne Wishes....

Once upon a time, in a far off land called Lafayette Hill (a.k.a. suburb outside of Philadelphia) a little four year old little girl told her Mother, "One day, I will go to Paris." 20 something-plus year later, it came true. Here I am in route to Pareee!

As many know, it's been a life long dream of mine to go to France. Some girls grow up dreaming of their wedding. Me, Paris. I've had a handful of trips planned that for whatever circumstance may be, it had to be canceled or post-poned. I've held THIS ticket now for two years. Waiting to be more "settled" or rather"more financially stable in life" in life. Well....."Joie de vivre!" I've discovered, Paris will be Paris and I will be Me. We will make it work together.

A two year ticket to Paris actually turned into an incredibly spontaneous trip. What a dream.

I sit in British Airways Lounge with a glass of champagne, frantically wrapping up my last leg of work emails before flight. Reminding myself of the wishes I once had are indeed coming true!

My Gate is #105, which is, ironically, my Apt # and my Father's lucky number in life. Can I get a  "JOIE DE VIVRE!"

Will be heading to gate shortly---I'm traveling with one rollie-on-wheels, which could technically be considered a carrying-on on an average 727 ( I must say, I'm pre-tty impressed with myself given the line-up of events and travels these next two weeks) a hang-up bag with the beloved Valentino's (to be disclosed later on the travels), coveted Chanel Vintage and fun, little Elizabeth James number - all awaiting their (my) debut at Paris Fashion Week.  Ahhhh!!!!!

First stop: LONDON!
